What you’ll do:

• Deliver high quality and innovative animation, motion graphics and story-based deliverables.
• Partner with creatives, producers and clients to develop creative solutions to every brief
• Ensure all outputs meet initial brief requirements and brand continuity.
• Have responsibility for projects from initial concept to delivery.
• Create well crafted offline edits for both TVCs and longer form, documentary style projects, that tell stories in interesting and engaging ways.
• Manage media ingest and setting up of projects for other team members.
• Export final masters to required specs, and oversee the archival process for completed projects.
• Contribute weekly ideas and help elevate the creative direction of each project.
• At times be required to work outside of business hours and occasional weekends to meet project deadlines.
• Represent the Light + Shade team and contribute to the progression of the brand and its culture.

What you’ll have:

• A collaborative artist with 5+ years experience in motion design/post production.
• Proven ability to craft design/animation solutions to suit a diverse range of advertising requirements and briefs.
• Experience in crafting narrative across various motion genres.
• Demonstrated experience in curating ideas and building on concepts brought to you.
• The drive to explore and develop new methods of working including integrating AI into workflows
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Avid Media Composer (a bonus), and other industry-standard software.
• Experience cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
• High level of organisation and time management skills, with proven experience working to tight deadlines.
• Solid understanding of design principles and a result-driven attitude.
